The first Hydromat 3500 to Russia

Recently, WEINIG delivered the first Hydromat 3500, the brand new compact and energy-saving moulder, to a customer in Russia. The customer is Forest Group, consisting of 2 industrial plants with several moulding lines in the Moscow region. The mainly end products are boards, borders, floor and beams. Last year they decided to begin a process to exchange all machines from other manufacturers to WEINIG machines. As a first step they bought a Hydromat 3500, produced at Waco in Sveden. The machine was presented for the first time at LIGNA 2009, where the customer had a great chance to see the machine live for the first time and this resulted in an order of a Hydromat 3500 with 9 spindles and a feed speed of 120 m/min. Since then, they’ve also bought a Hydromat 2000 from WEINIG. The Hydromat 2000 is running since September and the Hydromat 3500 will be installed just after the Christmas holiday by technicians from Waco.
