First CombiScan+ of 2010 delivered

January sees the delivery of the first CombiScan+ of 2010. The scanner is being delivered to an existing customer who has upgraded to a new WEINIG line. In addition to a Luxscan the line incorporates machines from Dimter, Grecon and Waco. The customer decided last year to upgrade his existing production, including a first generation CombiScan, and was impressed by the additional performance of the CombiScan+. In particular the customer felt the advantages of the new system, incorporating xray detection, was a significant improvement over visual detection alone. The flexibility of the CombiScan+ allows xray to be fitted as standard from the beginning or retro-fitted at a later date according to customer wishes and budgets. Currently two thirds of all customers have decided for the xray option on the new CombiScan+.
